There are many great trails, both public and private, only a short drive from Bird’s Nest... ranging from peaceful and scenic rides, to more advanced and adventurous trails! And located right next door (actually just across the river) is Martin's R-R Indoor Horse Arena. It is run by Sonny Martin, whose expertise in horse training and cutting, is sought after nationwide. Martin's hosts roping events every Thursday, and team penning every Friday. Indoor and outdoor overnight boarding is available to everyone.
